Nudgeathon is an intensive innovation competition where participants apply behavioural science and behavioural economics principles to solve real-world challenges. Across two and a half days, teams collaborate to design creative, evidence-based interventions that encourage positive behavioural change and improve decision-making outcomes.

This year’s Nudgeathon, in collaboration with QUT’s Centre for Materials Science, challenges explore both the supply and demand sides of technological innovation and adoption. Participants will investigate how behavioural barriers influence the translation of scientific research into manufacturing processes, as well as how consumer preferences and decision making shape the success of emerging technologies.
